2012 Irish Fest
Your MYAA has once again been invited to participate in the 2012 Irish Fest!!

In order for the MYAA to participate, we need two people to volunteer to chair the event for the MYAA.
Some of the responsibilities may include:
1. Collecting via email and maintaining the list of MYAA shift volunteers on an Excel spreadsheet and forwarding this list to the Irish Fest committee.
2. Distributing raffle tickets and collecting funds from the sale of tickets. Maintaining a list of how many tickets each volunteer was issued, how many were returned and how much money was returned.
3. Returning unsold tickets, sold ticket stubs and money from the sale of tickets to the Irish Fest committee.
4. Reporting to the MYAA Executive Board the proceeds from each volunteer who sold raffle tickets.
In return for these volunteer positions, the MYAA Executive Board will refund each chair person up to $100 of their registration fees for their children to any of our 2012 baseball, softball and soccer programs. Chair persons do not need to work a shift or sell raffle tickets to receive their refund.
Volunteers are critical to the activities that the MYAA provides for our kids. Without volunteers for this event, the MYAA may have to pass on the opportunity to help the Irish Fest, which in turn has supported the MYAA with thousands of dollars over the last two years.
