SOCCER FALL FIELD DAY
|
|
Hello Soccer parents!
It is that time of year again and "FALL FIELD DAY" is moving fast upon us. If we have a great turnout like we did the past few season this should take no time at all.
Fall Field Day is schedule to take place on October 29th and begin at 10 am.
The plan is for those parent who have games at 9 am should stick around after their child's game and help take down some nets and move some goals. As each game ends for the remainder of the morning there will be nets and goals to take down and move.
Fall Field Day consist of the following:
-
Garbage clean up of the entire field. (Garbage bags will be provided and a great activity for the kids)
-
Take down the goal nets from the goal post and put them away in storage.
-
Take down the Kindergarten goals post and put away in storage. (No tools necessary and very light)
-
Move large goals to the south end the field and secure post with lock and chain. (The larger posts can get heavy but if we have the numbers this can go by very quickly without much effort.)
After your child’s game head over to the white storage container and someone will be there to direct you on what to do.
I ask that you dress appropriately for the weather and be ready to get your hands a little dirty. Also, bring some old gloves to help with the moving of materials.
Without VOLUNTEERS this program cannot happen and if we get the numbers this event will not take long at all.
PLEASE RESPOND TO Soccer@manhattanball.com TO LET US KNOW WE CAN COUNT ON YOUR SUPPORT!
